Her book was naked
       stripped of identifying marks
       with nothing but back paper
               between it           and the words
                                   inside

I wanted to ask her
       "Are you making a statement
               about how a book
                               is a book
               and all books are good

       Or are you ashamed
               that you
                          a 30 year old woman
             is reading Harry Potter?"
